#AskTheExpert Dear Sir, My baby sometimes vomits immediately after taking solids. It begins with a slight cough and turns out to a heavy vomit. Kindly answer.. Thanks in advance..

A. after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily dgigestible food. do not givec anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

A. It Could be associated with two things either your child is eating so quickly that your child is actually hogging all to the food which is why your child is vomiting or otherwise your child is not just able to digest the food which is why immediately vomiting is happening
