#AskTheExpert Dear Dr, Vivan underwent urine test and urine Culture test few days back. He was getting fever and urine had foul smell.Urine test nothing was found but culture test showed bacteria growth. He was given antibiotics. Now after finishing all the medicines he was looking fine. After 4 days completion of antibiotics, he is getting fever. His urine heard foul smell. What should we do, should we give him antibiotics for some more days.

A. for urine infection it is advisable to take appropriate antibiotics for 2 weeks if it only for a few days infection will not be controlled and it will be recurrent infection for the baby
