#AskTheExpert Dear Doctor, my daughter will be three years old in August. Her height is 42 cms and weight is 20.5 kgs. Is there anything to be concerned about. Please share your view

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. Ideal height of a 3 years old girl should be between 90 to 98 cms and weight 12-14 kgs depending on eating habits and physical activities.
Your baby's height can not be '42 cms' as you have mentioned as it is of some new born babies. Please recheck.
Weight is on a higher side and you need to work on controlling it to avoid problems in future. Limit intake of sugar, rice, potato, fried and packaged foods. Keep her physically active.
