Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and t expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accortding to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

I would suggest to use Nasal saline drops for blocked nose
give more and more breastfeeds ,it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against such Infection.
give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day
you can apply warm paste of Turmeric powder and water on chest and back of your child
