Weather changes, exposure to dust or pollution, or even other children with infections can trigger these symptoms frequently in babies.
What you can do: Keep your baby warm, especially the chest, ears, and feet. Give lukewarm water or fluids to soothe the throat (if age-appropriate). Use a humidifier or steam to ease congestion. Avoid giving cold foods and keep their surroundings dust-free. You can apply baby-safe vapor rub on the chest and back (like Baby Vicks). Include immunity-boosting foods (for babies above 1 year) like turmeric milk, tulsi water, or dry fruits powder in food. If the symptoms continue for more than 5–7 days, or if there is high fever, consult a pediatrician for further check-up and proper treatment.
