Q.

#AskTheExpert can we introduce food other than breastmilk after 4 months? in US we were encouraged to introduce peanut butter after 4 months so that baby doesn't develop any nut allergies. is it ok to do so in India also? plus some rice puree with honey also we gave to our first baby Hamza

A. don't, WHO and UNICEF recommend that babies be fed nothing but breast milk for their first 6 months, after which they should continue breastfeeding n start giving semi solid. tc
