ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. no, don't give water. Baby should be breast feed exclusively till 6 months of age. This will make him less interested in drinking milk. It could also result in weight loss or poor weight gain.

MRS PrasadMom of a 3 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. as breast milk and formula milk contains approximately 90% of water, drinking water is not recommended. bcz kidney is not able to filter much water that may lead to some adverse effect.
