#AskTheExpert can we give biscuits dissolved in water for 4 month old baby

A. no. exclusive breastfeeding is recommended till 6 months. but if its not possible due to any reason you can start with moong dal pani, ricE water. start with a spoon for a day. slowly increase quantity. banana preferably later. when baby is used to the idea of feeding from spoon. this is just tummy training. it will not replace breastfeeding. it bridges the gap when baby turns 6 months, you can increase the quantity. make sure baby is head up while feeding, do not hasten or forcefeed, keep patience.

A. hello there sir please do not worry about it too much and it is always advisable to give baby breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months and also not advisable to give baby biscuits as it is mde with maida and some preservative also there which harm the baby health. take care
