#asktheexpert Can the breast feeding mommy take headache tablets or fever tablets ?

A. she can take paracetamol, it will help in headache n fever both. take healthy diet with sufficient fluids. avoid stress . if the problem persist do consult your paedriatian.

A. Preparations containing paracetamol are suitable for use by breastfeeding mothers up to the maximum dose of two tablets four times a day. Very small amounts of the drug pass into the breastmilk, but it's not enough that it affects the baby, and it doesn't affect your milk supply. As a result, it's considered safe during breastfeeding—and it's often a go-to for controlling pain while recovering from childbirth injuries or C-sections.
