#AskTheExpert can I leave my 4 months old breastfeeding baby for one month and go for pilgrimage

A. wait till the baby turns atleast one year... because then he can eat semi solid and few solid foods as well and is not much dependent on mother's milk. for now the baby is very small and he/she needs you the most ... enjoy this precious time.

A. A formula-fed baby can be left as soon as you feel comfortable leaving him. But if you're breastfeeding, you don't want to be away from your baby until nursing is going smoothly
