#asktheexpert Can i give cow's milk to my baby who is preterm and now at his 9th month?(history of vitilago present to his father,wheather it will be a contraindication?)

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. even if there was a no contraindication you are not supposed to give cow milk or buffalo milk to the baby until the baby completes one year of age and as your baby is Preterm you have to give the time definitely

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. You should give your baby only breast milk or iron-fortified formula during the first 12 months of life, not cow's milk. Starting at age 6 months, you may add solid foods to your baby's diet.
