Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Yes you can go ahead. There is no problem in breastfeeding in a sleeping position. It is a myth that breastfeeding in a sleeping position will cause ear infection. There is no proven evidence for this. Also whether the mother sits or lays down we should note that the baby almost always feeds in a sleeping position. Just make sure u r lying on the side the babys head is slightly elevated so that there is no choking hazard
