Q.

#AskTheExpert By when should postpartum bleeding stop? It has been 7 weeks and still I see spotting. And by when can the periods start again. I am noticing bleeding increased slightly from last 2 days.

A. mostly the post delivery period stops till 6 to 7 weeks in case if only spotting no need to worry just take adequate rest and it will get reduced itself but if you have heavy bleeding you need to consult with your doctor once

A. everything is possible after delivery depending on your body n hormones. It's normal after delivery. There is nothing much to worry. Sometimes it would bleed less sometimes more. Missing periods for a while.. Sometimes it may even take time.it may even take a year to resume for few. It differs for each mum. it's all due to hormonal imbalance post delivery.
