#asktheexpert by what time do babies attain their complete eyesight? My baby was born at 37 weeks. Got his eye checked n i wAs told ge has delayed eye maturation

A. the maturity process will take time but yes whether the child is having proper vision or not at the time of birth will be evaluated by the ophthalmologist who will do a retina scan

Hello ma’am Normally after completing the age of three months a child starts to gain its vision and they start to see clearly with the time because for initial three much everything is black and white for them so if your child is having a delayed growth in that area so maybe it could be 5 to 6 months but to know a definite in a certain time it would be better to consult a nice
