A. Sometimes between 18 months and 2 years, the kids begin to form 2 to 4 word sentences. Play games with your kid. A sibling or cousin could encourage development in terms of social and cognitive development to a large degree. My elder daughter is 6 years old and she keeps talking to my 2.5 years old daughter and I have seen so much growth in my younger daughter. Kids learn better from their siblings or cousins or friends. Keep talking with your child. Read stories to him or her and ask questions. Wait patiently for the kid's answer. Help her in framing sentences and if she fails, you form the sentence and make her repeat again and again. Sing songs and make him or her listen to rhymes.
