Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients.
one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chthronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Your doctor might be able to guide you better in this. You can ask whether your kid can be given vitamin or zinc supplements? Try to offer smaller portions of meals and give more only when the kid asks. Let the child eat on his own. Give him a bowl and a spoon and let him feed himself. Let him play with the food and make a mess and this is how he will learn to eat independently.
