A. Mostly, toddlers are fussy and picky eaters and very active. Their main focus is on playing and exploring around. Therefore, it is important to mix variety of foods so that maximum nutrition can be given even in smaller quantities. Try not to force feed and make eating a fun time. Include fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, eggs, chicken, fish, legumes, ghee, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado, paneer and 600-700 ml milk everyday including variety of fluids. Feed3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks. Serve in a kiddie bowl or plate or cup with a straw from brands like Babyhug feeding range and give in different shapes and colors to make it interesting.
