POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy5 months agoA. Babies usually start rolling over between 4 to 6 months of age. Some may roll from tummy to back first (around 4 months), while others may roll from back to tummy a bit later (5-6 months). However, every baby develops at their own pace.
How to Encourage Rolling Over:
✔ Tummy Time – Give plenty of supervised tummy time to strengthen neck and arm muscles.
✔ Place Toys Nearby – Keep colorful toys slightly out of reach to encourage movement.
✔ Assist with Rolling – Gently guide your baby from side to tummy or back to help them practice.
✔ Limit Time in Swings & Bouncers – Encourage more floor play.
If your baby doesn't attempt rolling by 6 months, you may consult a pediatrician for evaluation. Let me know if you need any exercises to help with rolling!
