#asktheexpert baby is having runny nose since morning what shld I do... baby is just 8kg is it ok?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.

Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at leastx 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

Sinarist 1ML can be given to the child twice a day and about for minimum three days and maximum five days you can go ahead with giving this medicine this is a basic anti allergy that you can be giving to the child so you can definitely give it to the child as of now
