A. If your baby is crawling differently, it could be a normal variation in their motor development. Babies can crawl in various ways, such as the traditional hands-and-knees crawl, army crawl (dragging their body while pushing with their arms), or even scooting on their bottoms. Each baby develops at their own pace, and as long as they are progressing in their overall motor skills, there’s usually no cause for concern. It's important to encourage your baby’s exploration by creating a safe space for them to move around. You can motivate them to crawl by placing toys just out of reach or by getting down on the floor with them to make it a fun activity. However, if you're noticing significant delays in other developmental milestones, such as sitting up, standing, or walking, or if the crawling appears to be causing discomfort, it might be a good idea to consult your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
