#AskTheExpert Baby is 4 month old , have cough and cold due to season change .do we need to give medicine or somewhere I am reading an article that we don't have to give medicine to babies as there immunity is building this time and we need to wait as there immunity is going to work for cold and cough.what you suggest is it right or wrong

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. juts it is thwco cold .Sneezing and cough is common in this changing wheather . So steam is a good that can be given to babies for 2 to 3 times in a day at home only . For severe cough asthakind LS and montair like medication can be given .
