Q.

#AskTheExpert baby has not littered for last 2 days, is it normal or serious. what shall be the prescription if needed to b followed. Dob of Baby is 06 Jul 22

A. okay no problem hlb Babies below 6 months may not be passing stool regularly a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need of any medicines

A. hello dear if the child is exclusively on breastfeed then pooping not even for 6 to 7 days is normal. sometimes fm causes constipation. just massage the tummy in circular motion with oil. put a warm towel on the abdominal area. lift the legs and gently press across the tummy. the feeding mother should add lots of fruits and vegetables In her diet. give tummy time daily.

A. Hi mom This is normal. Constipation is common in breast feed babies. Babies can go without poop for a week altogether and even more. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise,accepting feeds,then no need to worry
