Q.

#asktheexpert Baby had fever Friday evening, I consulted doctor and they gave me paracetamol and a antibiotics syrup. They prescribed me to give 0.7ml of both 4days and 5days respectively. Fever got cleared Saturday evening, so I stopped paracetamol. I had stopped antibiotics before before stopping paracetamol since one more pedestrian suggested me to stop it since no blood test was done. Can continue antibiotics for 5days from now? Antibiotics course has to be completed right so.

A. Hello my dear parent! You should be giving medications to your child only after consultation with the doctor. If your doctor has said that there is no need to continue the medication that it is fine. Inform your doctor about any changes or concerns.
