#asktheexpert baby boy of 1 year 4 months is having normal consipitation when i got covid than he became fine after 15-20 days for 15 days n again from last 15 days he is having severe constipitation n cries a lot n poop by himself but very less poo

A. Constipation is a chronic problem seen in children and most important cause is diet modification so firstly it should be taken care of. givec good fibre diet with plenty of liquids and avoidance of food which can aggravate constipation like Bananag excess of milk and maida containing food. medications like lactulose PEG or glycerine suppository should be second option
