A. babies bite while breastfeeding for several reasons -poor latch/ attachment -too much milk flow -low milk supply -a cold or stuffy nose -being full -distraction or boredom -teething you can calmly say something such as “no biting” as you remove your breast don’t pull your baby off too quickly. removing a baby that is still firmly latched can cause more injury to your nipple. to ease the pain and protect your nipples, you can try: -nipple cream, such as purified lanolin -cold packs -nursing on the unbitten side first — breastfeeding tends to be most vigorous at the beginning of a nursing session -pain relievers that are safe for breastfeeding, such as paracetamol and ibuprofen can be taken -using a pump to maintain your milk supply as you heal biting is usually a temporary problem and babies quickly learn to stop. a lactation consultant can help you find strategies to continue breastfeeding ffor as long as you and your baby wish.

A. Hello dear parent! Check if your baby is teething. Gently press your child’s gums with a soft cotton cloth dipped in cold water to reduce teething symptoms. Use Babyhug teethers for your baby. Consult your doctor for guidance
