A. Every baby is loosing weight after birth.. So don't worry about that... you have to give feed in every 2 hours... my baby birth was the same 2.45 kg and he is about to 1 year old.

A. Every baby looses up to 10% his/her birth weight in the first week of his life. This is due to adjustment to the outside world. They are expected to recover their weight by the end of first month. Continue to breastfeed, make sure latch is proper and the baby is full. Pees 8-10 in the day and you need to feed the baby up every two hours at this stage. Feeding on demand can be started post 6 weeks.
