#AskTheExpert baby always keeps his head at right side.. due to which his head has flatten at right side. when I turn him to.left he gets irritated and started to cry... as he gets comfort at right only. how to get it resolved plz help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Flat head in Babies is very common mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull rbones such flattening can be there . This will become normal by itself gradually when the skull grow in size and shape with age .
No musturd sgeed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required for the corrrction .

It's ok for now
give her tummy time for few minutes daily
change her position of sleeping
don't feed her in your lied down position
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
massage her with Babyhug massage oil
