A. For a 4-month-old baby, you don’t need to give regular medicines unless prescribed by a doctor. However, it’s good to keep some essential medicines and remedies at home for common issues. For gas and colic, you can keep Colic Aid or Bonnisan drops. If the baby has nasal congestion, saline drops like Nasivion Saline can help. In case of fever, Paracetamol drops (like Crocin or Calpol) should be given as per the doctor's dosage. For mild constipation, gripe water or a pediatric lactulose syrup (if recommended) can be used. If the baby has diarrhea, ORS solution and probiotics like Enterogermina are useful. Always consult a pediatrician before giving any medicine, and avoid unnecessary use of antibiotics or over-the-counter drugs.
