#asktheexpert At what age should the child start speaking. presently my daughter is 22 months old and says only single words like mumma pappa moon, foodd, water etc

A. mono syllables by 9 to 12 months.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

A. Its Find your child is not having any speech disorder that means gradually the kids will start picking up new words and they will start framing sentences how you are going to talk your child will also learn it in the same manner and kids normally start to frame sentences after the age of 3 to 3 1/2 years before they start saying one word than did you try to say two or three words but that happens mostly it up till the age of 3 to 3 and half months
