A. Children typically reach the milestones of standing and speaking at different ages: 1. **Standing**: Most babies can pull themselves up to a standing position by around 9 to 12 months. They might start standing with support and begin cruising along furniture. Independent standing usually happens between 12 to 15 months. 2. **Speaking**: Babies often say their first words around 12 months. By 18 months, many children can say a few simple words and may start to combine words into short phrases. Full sentences typically develop between 24 to 36 months. Keep in mind that there is a range of normal development, and each child progresses at their own pace. If you have concerns about your child's development, it's a good idea to consult with a pediatrician.
