#asktheexpert after taking oral polio my son is frequently vomiting.kindly tel me ne solution

A. for vomiting you can give drops domstal or drops perinorm 2 to 3 drops half an hour before feed and then wait for 15 to 20 minutes and then you can give feeding. during this time please keep the childx in an upright position. vomiting medicines can be given maximum 3 times per day if requiredx. it is important to meet the doctor to rule out any obstruction and regurgitation and reflux issues in the child

A. Side Effects of Opv are Fever, Vomiting, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), Irritability, Tiredness, Decreased appetite, Unusual crying
