Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob xgel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. Apply ice cube on to the vaccinated area that is going to help in settling down swelling and pain in that area also you can give paracetamol to the child every six hours even if there is no fever that is going to help in settling down your child
