Q.

#asktheexpert after 23 days of babys birth we have consulted a neonotologist for jaundice, doctor suggested to TSB and the result came out to be 16.2, Baby and mother blood group is B+ve Should we undergo phototherapy for 24 hrs

A. it would be advisable to follow your treating doctor as on examination of the baby it can be decided what the treatment should be given and not on the only basis of the blood reports

A. Certainly if your doctor is advising you should go for phototherapy because that actually has a lot in reducing down these levels and with that the child is going to be better along with that ask your doctor that if you need to start with vitamin D supplement right away
