#asktheexpert actually my cousin's baby girl birth weight was 2.7 kg and now she is 2mnths 7days old and her weight is 3.8kg she looks very thin. is her weight is normal?? And she passes stool once in 9-10days ?is it normal??

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello in the first month babies weight will generally reduce after birth and then baby will start to gain and of baby is gaining a minimum of 600 to 800 grams per month then it is a good weight gain whch means baby is getting sufficient breast milk else need to check on the same and also check in your diet as it can effect baby tummy whch can also be the cuse for baby passing motion frequently
