Q.

#asktheexpert 9 months baby girl weight 6.1kg and height 64 cm. birth weight was 2.43. 100 gm per month weight increasing. is it normal? what can i give to increase weight fast. she is super active.

A. Mam your child is quite underweight right now the height would still be okay but the weight is really less the weight should be at least 8 to 8 1/2 kg in this age so you can see that there’s a gap and gain hundred grams in a month is not good it should at least be 500 g in a month which is a standard expected weight
