#asktheexpert 8 month old baby girl is not passing the stool every day. since I have started iron drops. every 2-3 day she is doing potty. is it fine.?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. yes iron can cause constipation. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Sometimes iron drops can create constipation to kids which is totally normal so iron drops can be one reason behind the constipation for the child so include more of liquids and fibre into your child every day diet
