A. Your baby's weight gain seems to be on track, especially considering his low birth weight. Here’s a quick overview: 1. Growth Since Birth: Your baby’s weight has more than doubled from his birth weight (2.190 kg to 4.75 kg), which is generally a positive sign of growth. 2. Monthly Weight Gain: A weight gain of 600 grams in a month at this age is within the normal range. Babies typically gain around 500–800 grams per month during the first few months. 3. Signs of Health: Since he is playful, sleeping well, and seems content, these are all indicators that he is healthy and growing well. In Summary Your baby's weight gain is consistent with normal growth patterns, especially given his lower birth weight. If he continues to gain steadily, is feeding well, and remains active, his growth is likely on track. However, regular check-ups with his pediatrician are always beneficial to ensure his growth and development stay within healthy ranges.
