Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. it has to beseen. Child specialist should be seen for this as proper treatment and management required a proper examination of baby by the doctor. As such no any self medication should be given to baby .

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a hkpart of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
