straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age.
sometimes this can continue for one year of age also.
it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child.
the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying
if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello Mom if baby is crying before passing the urine then this is a very normal thing in the newborn babies but if if she is crying while pass in the urine then definitely she is having some problem like rashes
