#askthedoctor she got vaccinated today itself poliyo vaccine she got fever and crying lot how to clam her and low down her fever

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. it is ok then. Breast feeding should be at least till 6 month of age. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

U Can give paracetamol to your child to reduce on the fever and pain also of ice cube on to the area with the vaccination has been given it is going to help in settling down the swelling and pain in that area and you can repeat the dosage of paracetamol after six hours if it is required
