Q.

#askthedoctor My baby gets urine infection very frequently . I have also stopped using diapers but still she is getting it . Request you to please let me know what could be the causes and how to avoid it.

A. for perianal/perigenital rash if it is less then you can go for simple coconut oil as well as any rash cream which is available for diaper (rashfree / ezinapi / b4napi / zincal) but if it is not improving then at night time you. can add t bact cream in the perianal area which will help in decreasing the rash. to prevent the diaper rash in the future kindly apply coconut oil before making the child wear the diaper

A. generally it happens due to dehydration so if your breastfeeding mum then you should keep yourself well hydrated and keep your baby also well hydrated give ample of liquids and it is better to consult doctor for proper medication
