#askthedoctor i am a mother of 1 month girl i am having cold and cough should i take antibiotic medicine does it effect my breastfeeding baby?

A. antibiotic sub not required for viral infections Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
