Dear mum, to increase the weight of your 1 year old baby boy, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Add ghee to baby’s food.
Give 4 to 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time. This should include one or two healthy snacks in between. Continue to breastfeed till 2 years.
