#askthe expert My 5 month old son is having atopic dermatitis. Doctor has prescribed him with desonide 0.05% gel. I am very confused on applying this steroid gel thinking of its side effects. Please advice doctor

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician1 Year agoA. It is a steroid but for now if you need to use it then you should or rise take a second opinion and start bathing the child eith neem water soak neem leaves overnight abd in morning give bath with that water and apply coconut oil on skin
