#asktgeexperts is it normal that my baby doesnt reach the 1st year tripke weight gain mark??

A. dear mum baby should triple the birth weight 1 year If the child has not achieved this then consult doctor to follow the growth curve give a balanced diet having variety of food groups 3 meals and two healthy snacks

A. #ask the experts sir /maam my babys birth weight 3.2 kg 5th month 6.4 then viral fever for 2 days or so , post that she is not gaining adequate weight. she 8 month 20 days and her weight is 6.860 kgs. i have been seeing this figure since 1 month now. only 80 gm weight gain in last month. i have been breast feeding plus 3 meals consisting of rice daal, khichdi, vegetable, 2 snacks mostly fruits. she drinks less water, plays with it or throw it. at this rate her 1 year weight target can never be acheived. please tell me that it is not a concerning thing ?
