#askexperts My baby is 3 months old. I have very low breast milk and it does not fill her stomach. I feed her with formula milk but now she refuses to drink it and my breast milk does not fill her. What should I do?

A. To increase breastmilk supply, include foods like oatmeal, fenugreek, cumin, carom seeds, brown rice, fennel seeds, ginger, garlic, cereals, legumes, green leafy vegetables, dry fruits and milk. Keep latching the baby as supply largely depends on the demand. While nursing, keep massaging the breasts to increase milk secretion. You can also try mixing breastmilk with formula milk and feed her.
