Q.

#askexperts my 4 month old baby is producing lot of gas and farting really loudly. he is mostly on upper feed now and when we checked with local doctor, she said it's normal. but he is farting 40 50 times a day and very loudly like adults. A. it is not due to infection. Farting is very common in infants and growing babies. And farting is a clear indication of the baby being very gassy A baby’s digestive tract is immature and still growing and so it becomes difficult for the baby to cope with trapped air bubbles and gas while feeding. burp well post feeding

A. Bonnisan Should be given to the child maximum four times in a day five drops at a point of time it is going to help in settling down the gas issues and cons of colic pain if your child is having also when the child does not pass motion regularly farting becomes really normal and common that time
