#AskExpert My baby is 1 yr 7 months old and she is having loose motions ,could you please tell me the medicine for loose motion?Thank you. From yesterday it has happend around 4 times till today 9PM.

shruthikaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Give 1 hill banana daily. 1 cup home made curd. Lot of fluids like butter milk, appli juice. Stop outside food and cows milk for 3 days. Raw banana with a pinch of hing/asafoetida and turmeric. These 3 can be boiled with little salt and given to baby to boost stomach health. I tried these to stop my baby loose motion. If it persist more than 2-3 day and did not reduce, cosult your Paediatrician. It takes a week to get back to normal. Until then give non spicy food.

A. hello dr, my 18 months old daughter having digestion problem from 5-4 days , whenever she is eating something afterthat she passed motion with in 5-10 minutes kindly guide me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. loose motion may be because of either some infehction there could be loss of water and electrolytes so a proper hydration is requiredg give ORS and also give probiotic like enterogermina two times 3 day

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Most kids with diarrhea can eat a normal diet.Drink more fluids to prevent dehydration. Formula, breastmilk and/or regular milk are good choices for diarrhea.Do not use fruit juices or full-strength sports drinks. ...Solid foods: eat more starchy foods (such as cereal, crackers, rice, pasta).
