Q.

#askexpert My 18 month old son has flexible flat feet. His legs are a little inwards and he keep his left leg a little tilted. I have shown the Ortho he asked me to make him wear afo shoes and physio. Some how I am not convinced because he does not complain of foot pain or he is not lathargic. He is very active child. What should I do? Is flexible flat feet such a serious matter that I need to make him wear shoes n all from such a young age?

A. the child is not having any problem in walking there is no need to do anything about it but if there is discrepancy in the Limb length then only processes and shoes is required
