Q.

#askexpert medicine for loose watery motions for baby. Giving her ors but no recovery can zincolife syp be given.

A. if you are giving only breastfeeding then there is a possibility that slightly loose to semi solid stool may be present intermittently. if you see that it is totally watery and also you are giving outside milk then it is advisable to get the child examined by the doctor to rule out anyx digestion problem or dany infection. need of probiotics (sachet superflora gg once a day can be given) and zinc has to be evaluated. in the meantime kindly continue breastfeeding to prevent dehydration. you can gxive ors also if water loss is more if there is blood in the stool then kindly meet the doctor immediately because it can be dysentery also.

A. Sporolac Can also be given to the child twice a day but if it is not helping in anyways then you should consult your paediatrician rather than going ahead with self medicating the child to the doctor can advise you with the correct medicine to deal with this issue in a proper way
